Wall Street Prep’s 2-Weekend Financial & Valuation Modeling Boot Camp exposes students to the core financial modeling skill set of investment banking analysts and associates. Designed for both undergraduates and MBAs pursuing careers in finance and investment banking in particular, this program will prepare students for both finance interviews and the demands of an analyst or associate position. Our experienced instructors (all former investment bankers) teach the practical application of topics most trainees have only seen on a theoretical level.

Students who complete the boot camp are eligible to receive Wall Street Prep’s Certification in Financial & Valuation Modeling upon successfully passing an examination.

Liberal arts students face an uphill battle during the finance recruiting process. Wall Street Prep offers a version of its popular on-campus financial modeling boot camp that’s designed specifically for liberal arts majors who have had limited exposure to accounting, finance and Excel.

The goal of the program is to prepare liberal arts students with the real-world financial & valuation modeling skill set they need to succeed in interviews and on the job. Our experienced instructors (all former investment bankers) teach the practical application of topics most trainees have only seen on a theoretical level.

Finance interviews are incredibly competitive, and students must be prepared with “real world” finance and accounting knowledge that’s not often taught in the classroom. Our Technical Finance Interview Prep program shows students headed into recruitment how to effectively answer common finance interview questions.

We begin with an overview of the financial industry and typical post-undergraduate and MBA roles. Students then progress step-by-step through accounting, valuation, M&A and leveraged buyout concepts commonly encountered in the technical interview. We pay particular attention to the level of detail needed to construct comprehensive answers that won’t leave interviewees vulnerable to increasingly technical follow-ups. By the end of the program, students will understand how to articulate key finance and accounting concepts in concise, well-structured responses.

Wall Street Prep’s on campus Sales & Trading seminars draw from the same materials used to train new hire Sales & Trading analysts at major U.S. and international Banks and are fully customizable based on the student group background.

This live training is for students preparing for Sales & Trading, Hedge Fund, and Asset Management interviews, students preparing for the start of their internships and full-time positions and finance faculty looking to supercharge their finance lab learning experience.

Our experienced Sales & Trading instructors (all former traders) teach students how to decode S&T jargon, teach critical technical skills, and enhance the university finance lab experience. Students learn through actual stock, bonds and derivatives on Bloomberg. This Sales & Trading seminar series provides and insider’s understanding of what it take to be a successful salesperson/trader and equips students with a “real world” skill set that will set them apart in interviews and internships.

Typically taught over 1-2 days, this program will turn intermediate-level Excel users into advanced “Power Users.”  We introduce time-saving shortcuts and lesser-known but highly effective functionality with a focus on the development of problem-solving skills using Excel’s wide array of functions. This course is often paired with our “Crash Course in Excel” and “Excel VBA” online courses.
